At Encounter Exercise we have some fantastic and inspirational learners. Below are just a few evolutionary past Encounter Exercise students who foster the growth mind-set we all desire.
“I have always dreamed of having my own business and for me Personal Training is a way of making that come true. I was in an exercise class one day after a long day at work in the city and thought I reckon I could do that. After the thought entered my head I began to explore the options.
I soon realised that I had to complete the Level 2 qualification before being able to qualify as a Personal Trainer. I opted for a contact option at a different and much larger training provider where I attended every weekend after a long week’s work. I turned up and there was one teacher to a class of 25, the days were extremely long and often over both days at the weekend. As the qualification was shorter than the Level 3 I stuck with it and worked hard. On the assessment day there was a lot of waiting around for all the other students and it felt like a very impersonal process.
I knew that for the next time I could not afford to give so much designated/ planned time to the qualification. I was chatting to some friends while out one night and one of them recommended Encounter Exercise. I preferred a smaller company as I knew they had more to lose if the service was not delivered. The flexible learning pattern suited me perfectly and allowed me to fit the qualification around my full time job.
I would recommend the company to anyone and Becky is very helpful and is well placed in the industry.”
“I came across Encounter Exercise after an online search on a business start-up website, as I was initially interested in starting my own business. I emailed them to see what they could offer me and shortly spoke to Becky on the phone, she was warm and friendly. Our conversations covered mainly why I was interested in the course and what Encounter Exercise could offer me the individual. She discussed the type of course, where I could use the qualification and how long it could/would take. She also gave me some useful career advice for after the course was completed.”
“You are in the comfort of your own home, achieve in your own time and at your own pace.”
“I completed my Level 2 qualification while at college and have been working in sports retail ever since. I started looking for a training provider that could offer a value for money Level 3 that would fit around my job. I had a really good immediate impression of Encounter Exercise. They have a really good set up and very good team of people. They are always willing to answer any queries you have and give with quick responses.
I play football for a local side and enjoy keeping fit. I wanted to study something that would broaden my future career options and give me more opportunities in the world of work. I have just turned 21 and started to focus on my future. One thing I was worried about before deciding to take the qualification was the practical exam, however the team at Encounter Exercise are really friendly and set you at ease.
I’m hoping that this qualification will either lead me to be a really successful personal trainer working in a really good company then hopefully one day owing my own gym.”
